Humana, a leading health and well-being company, has announced its Medicare Advantage and Medicare Prescription Drug Plan offerings for 2025. The plans are designed to provide affordable and high-quality care to Medicare beneficiaries. Humana has introduced a total of 793 individual Medicare Advantage plans across the United States for 2025.
The plans allow beneficiaries to choose options that best fit their budget and lifestyle. George Renaudin, Humana’s President of Medicare and Medicaid, said, “Our members want benefits that work for their lives, which is why we don’t view Medicare Advantage as a one-size-fits-all option.”
The 2025 plans include vision coverage, comprehensive dental coverage, flexibility in provider choice, Social Security giveback, and veteran-focused plans. Humana also offers plans specifically designed for individuals eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid, those with chronic or disabling conditions, and residents of long-term care facilities.
Under the Inflation Reduction Act, all plans that provide prescription drug coverage will see benefit enhancements in 2025.
Humana’s 2025 Medicare Advantage options
These include a $2,000 cap on out-of-pocket drug costs and the elimination of the coverage gap phase.
Humana’s stand-alone Part D Prescription Drug Plans will now include Humana Value Rx and Humana Premier Rx. Humana Value Rx is designed for those who prioritize low generic costs with $0 copays for Tier 1 and Tier 2 medications. Humana Premier Rx offers broad drug coverage with $0 deductibles and copays at preferred retail and mail-order pharmacies.
For 2025, Humana’s Medicare Advantage plans will be available in 48 states, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico, covering 89% of U.S. counties. Expansion includes new counties and the introduction of various plans in states like Washington, D.C., North Dakota, Arizona, Minnesota, New Mexico, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Tennessee, Washington, and West Virginia. Humana remains dedicated to serving over 8.5 million Medicare members, with more than 5.6 million enrolled in Medicare Advantage plans.
